Privacy Policy

1. General provisions

1.1. The personal data operator is Individual Entrepreneur Grigoriy Alekseevich Tokarev (the “Operator”).

1.2. This Policy applies to all personal data the Operator may receive from the User while the User uses the Service.

1.3. Use of the Service constitutes the User’s unconditional acceptance of this Policy.

2. What we do NOT collect

2.1. Audio recordings: your microphone audio is processed and stored only on your device and is never uploaded or transmitted to the Operator.

2.2. Transcribed text: text produced by transcription is stored locally on your device only. It is never sent to the Operator and we have no ability to read it.

2.3. Custom dictionary, app settings, and transcription history: all stored locally on your device only.

2.4. We do not require an account, email, or any sign-up.

3. What we do process

3.1. App analytics: the app sends pseudonymous product-usage events (e.g. which features are used, app version, OS version, crash reports) to PostHog, an analytics service hosted in the European Union. These events are metadata only: they contain no audio, no transcribed text, and no content you dictate. Your audio recordings and transcriptions never leave your device.

3.2. Analytics identifier: to count unique installations, the app stores a randomly generated pseudonymous identifier (a “distinct_id”) in local storage on your device. It is not derived from your name, email, or any other identity data, and we make no attempt to link it to you.

3.3. Your choice: you are asked whether to enable app analytics during onboarding, and you can disable analytics at any time in the app’s settings (Privacy section).

3.4. Website analytics: the voxfusion.com website uses Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service, to collect anonymous, aggregate visit statistics.

3.5. Support correspondence: if you contact us at hello@voxfusion.com, we will process the contents of your message in order to reply.

4. Purposes of processing

4.1. Improving Service quality, fixing errors, and understanding aggregate usage.

4.2. Providing technical support to users who contact us.

4.3. Complying with legal requirements of the Russian Federation.

5. Legal bases for processing

5.1. Analytics events and support correspondence are processed on the basis of the operator’s legitimate interests (Article 6, Clause 1, Subclause 7 of Federal Law No. 152-FZ) and the data subject’s consent (Article 6, Clause 1, Subclause 1).

6. Transfer of data to third parties

6.1. Audio and transcribed text are never transferred to any third party — they never leave your device.

6.2. App analytics events are processed by PostHog (hosted in the European Union) and website visit statistics by Umami, each acting as a processor on the Operator’s behalf under a data processing agreement. Neither provider ever receives your audio recordings or transcriptions — those never leave your device.

6.3. We do not sell, exchange, or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

6.4. Data may be disclosed upon request from authorized government authorities in cases required by Russian law.

7. Data retention

7.1. Audio recordings are stored locally on your device; the app keeps only the most recent recordings (currently the latest 20) and automatically deletes older ones after each transcription. They never leave your device.

7.2. Transcribed text and dictionary entries are retained on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app. The Operator has no copy.

7.3. Analytics events are retained for up to 12 months from the date of receipt.

8. User rights

8.1. Because we do not store your audio or transcripts, the most direct way to delete that data is to delete it on your device or uninstall the app.

8.2. You may also request information about, correction of, or deletion of any personal data the Operator processes, and withdraw consent at any time. Contact: hello@voxfusion.com.

9. Policy changes

9.1. The Operator may amend this Policy. The current version is published on this page with the date of the latest update.
